Paying homage to the greatest tennis tournament in America, the Kasino Hills Challenger capsule paraphrases its history by referencing the former tournament sites of Newport Casino and Forest Hills alongside the era from 1884 to 1911 where the tournament used a challenger system with the defending champion automatically qualifying for the following year’s final, where they would play the winner of the all-comers tournament.
