Palmes and Diadora are excited to announce their inaugural collaborative project, based on the iconic B.560 silhouette from the Diadora archive. Initially worn on court by the top tennis players in the 1990s, the B.560 is a testament to Diadora’s longstanding tennis heritage.

This new iteration of the B.560 has been customized by Palmes for Diadora, rendering the upper in a full-grain leather and an abrasive wax finish, and complementing it with suede detailing and a dark wash finish on the outsole. This first collaboration is manufactured on-site at Diadora’s HQ Factory Plant in Caerano di San Marco, Italy, guaranteeing the best attention to detail.
The brands took a romantically light-hearted approach to the campaign video, telling the story of Giovanni Fabrizio, a 65-year old tennis coach from Altamura in the south of Italy. We follow Giovanni, or Tennis Gio, as he is known via his Instagram handle, on his journey to find himself by creating the perfect shoe to perform the very trickshots that garnered him a cult following on social media.
