A thing that forever frustrates us at Palmes is that we can’t always be playing tennis. So what can we do instead? Spend countless hours watching the game unfold before us with the following spectacle that takes place around tennis matches on a professional level.
Though there’s only two, or four, players on court at a time, the surrounding circus is made up of an abundance of layers and individuals that contribute to the experience of a professional tennis match.For this year's Indian Wells, often called "the Grand Slam of the West", photographer Guy Ferguson ventured to the Californian desert to depict the feeling of attending one such event, depicting the humanly emotional moments that unfold on their own initiative as a result of their presence within the ecosystem that is an ATP Tour Masters 100 Event.
